Piano Repairs:

I carry enough tools and piano supplies with me to repair most broken piano parts in a single visit at a reasonable cost.

Action Regulation:

Adjustments that are aimed at increasing the over-all efficiency of the mechanical part of your piano are called action regulation. Frequently, relatively inexpensive adjustments can make a huge difference in the sensitivity of touch, allowing a person to play much more expressively. These adjustments restore the correct tolerances that were set when your piano was brand new, but which gradually change over time with regular use. There are over a dozen adjustments per note. My job is to recommend which of these will make the greatest improvement with the least amount of expense.

Piano Appraisals:

Pianos vary widely in quality and condition for the same price. For this reason, an appraisal of a piano prior to purchase is highly recommended.  Often a piano might need costly repairs that only a professional piano technician could detect. I also offer over the phone advice that could help to save you both time and money when you are looking for a piano to purchase.

Piano Cleaning:

Relatively inexpensive, cleaning a piano not only makes it look beautiful, but can also improve how the piano sounds and plays. Often different items get dropped and lodged into the piano and/or action. A thorough cleaning will allow me to see and remove these items. There are many areas that cannot be reached without the proper tools and equipment. Not only can you enjoy a nice looking piano on the outside, but you can be ensured the inside is clean as well.
